The remodel Ron Parker and the Fred Parker Company completed for us was transformational. Our home is not only more functional, but the aesthetics literally ‘lift my spirits’ every time I come through the door. The decision on whom to engage for a Remodel can be daunting. We interviewed several design and build firms; Fred Parker and Company was on the list based on Project images and effusive client reviews. The initial meeting made the decision. Consistent with the reviews, Ron Parker cares deeply about each client’s home and takes great pride in his firm’s ability to deliver an extraordinary result. Reputation is paramount - and the consistency with which the firm provides great service and client satisfaction is unwavering. Our home is on the lake and Ron demonstrated extraordinary patience in dealing with the separate requirements of the City and the Corps of Engineers. I cannot overstate what this required. The unexpected constraints, the seemingly contorted approval process, the extraordinary ‘wait, wait, wait’ time which resulted in material project delays, and – importantly – the needed workarounds. The combination of patience, persistence, and design talent were all essential in moving through this process with grace. The workmen were all professional with respect to how they worked and the skill they demonstrated. It was clear that everyone on the job had a respectful relationship with Fred Parker & Company. For those of us who have gone through the remodel process before, we greatly appreciate the value of this. Lila Parker was also a highly-valued resource. Lila has an extraordinary eye for design and the patience to work with the ‘less-confident’ homeowner. Given the expense involved, I was apprehensive about some of the design decisions (i.e., countertop, cabinet color and hardware, flooring, etc.). Lila provided many curated options based on images I shared and our discussions. Without a doubt, she made a significant contribution to the outcome. At the completion of the project, we looked at the home in awe and said “wow.” Ron shared the following, “If a client says ‘it looks good,’ ‘nice work,’ - if the response is anything short of amazement - we have not done our job.” With respect to the end result, I believe this captures the essence of what Fred Parker and Company will deliver – a beautiful home beyond your expectations, but one you will enjoy and appreciate for years to come.
