ALLEN WALKER
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
DALLAS BAPTIST UNIVERSITY; BA-ACCOUNTING
SOUTHWEST BAPTIST SEMINARY-DEVINITY DEGREE
Allen began working for the Fred Parker Company in 1994 to help Ron in Construction Management following Ron’s return to the company to manage new home construction. He was extremely helpful and worked with Ron to set up construction procedures in the field.
In 1996 Allen moved his work to accounting to computerize the existing financial system with state-of-the-art technology for the time. Allen was instrumental in helping establish a vision for the company while staying on top of the changing demands for the business. In 2001, Allen and his family wanted to pursue other alternatives, so he worked to search for the proper replacement and found Sheron Hunn. Allen remained with the company for a year, working in accounting with Sheron before leaving and heading to the Hill Country to lead a resort team.
In 2021 Allen returned to the company as CFO over all financial aspects of the business. He has a very special relationship with Ron Parker and the Parker family and loves working with the building team helping people realize their dreams.

SHERON HUHN
PAYROLL AND COST ACCOUNTING
TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY-BA-ACCOUNTING
Sheron joined the company as controller in 2001, taking on the responsibility of managing all financial matters for the business. Allen Walker, who had known and respected Sheron, interviewed and hired her when he was preparing to leave the company that year. She retired in 2021 during COVID and moved with her family to Galveston, Texas. Shortly after her retirement, she was contacted and hired by Allen Walker, CFO, to continue to work remotely and help with the payroll and cost accounting aspects of the company. It has been a great working relationship with Sheron, and she has reduced her hours to spend time with her family. It is the best of both worlds, and her experience, knowledge of our business, and relationship with the Parker family and team have made her a valued member of the building family.
