Tuscan Christmas / Updates

This beautiful home was built by The Fred Parker Company for these wonderful clients in 2015. This was the was the second home built for this owner. Recently, the client wanted to make some updates with a lighter and more modern flair for the interior of their home and worked with Lila Parker ASID to provide a fresh and brighter feel to the home. Dark mosaic tiles were removed from the larger archways and colors were lightened to provide an open feel that blended these interior rooms. The furnishings were updated with new fabrics and new furniture pieces. The decorative tile inlays over the chef’s oven were reworked by replacing the darker border with a custom stone mosaic. On the exterior, Lila replaced the exterior fabrics for the owner’s patio furniture at the Outdoor Living Area and swimming pool.

Ron Parker AIBD redesigned the large dark oak entertainment center to provide for a large flat screen TV that recessed to the space. Arches were created to blend with the interior architecture of the rooms.

Interior Design: Lila Parker ASID. (This was the last project created by Lila before passing on March 25, 2025 from cancer. Ron and Lila were married in 1982 and worked professionally serving the needs of their design-build clients for over 42 years.)
